Fabric System 2000 Awnings

The external System 2000 automatic folding arm awning operates on fixed guide rods with easy function self locking arms. They are most suitable for close to the window ground floor applications.

System 2000 folding arm uses common components to make up several configurations.


Tape Operation

With Tape Operation the skin is rolled up by means of tape on a spool connected to the end of the roller tube. The arm incorporates a spring that applies tension to the fabric. When operated internally it can be mounted in inaccessible positions such as upper levels.

Gear Operation

With gear operation the skin is rolled up by means of a crank mounted inside the head box on the end of the roller tube. It can be operated internally or externally.


Motor Operation

With the motor operation the awning skin is rolled up by means of a motor mounted inside the headbox on the end of the roller tube. It can be operated internally or externally.

The system is based on a roller tube with a keyway groove into which fabric is fitted. The roller assembly is mounted in an attractive, robust head box that can be mounted between roller mounting brackets. The bottom rail is a five-sided profile tube also with a keyway groove, into which the bottom of the awning skin is fitted. The System 2000 Folding Arm provides great flexibility in mounting as head box installation brackets and arms can be positioned at any point.

They can be coordinated with the Pivot Arm style which is suited to upper floor installations.
